This design was my very first linocut print. I was on a festival, enjoying the lightheartedness of the summer days, when I stumbled on linocut printing in the tent designated for handcrafts. I started carving in super hard linoleum, my wrist hurt after some time. But I just let myself being led by my intuition and this "sunshine road" appeared on the lino. I painted a print with all the colours: yellow, blue, green and red. I kept the lino, brought it with me from Munich to Vienna, from my first flat there, to the next, and to the third until I took it out of that old box and thought, wouldn't it be funny to carve again? That's when I got into linocut printing.
